Terms of Service

Using this site means accepting these terms. A visitor who does not agree should stop using the site and its tools.

This is a privately owned reference, unaffiliated with Hancock County, a sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provides consumer reports or FCRA-covered services. The site is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

Nature of the Service

The site identifies public arrest, jail, custody, court, and records-request resources in Hancock County and Tennessee. It stores no official government records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, file documents, or change an agency record.

Acceptable Use

Visitors may not break the law, stalk, harass, threaten, seek unauthorized access, run disruptive bots or scrapers, interfere with other users, or use content for a prohibited decision about another person.

No Consumer Reports

This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It provides no background check, credit report, or consumer report. Information may not be used for employment decisions, tenant or housing screening, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licensing eligibility, government-benefit eligibility, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.

External Services

Links may lead to jail, sheriff, court, corrections, federal, legal-aid, news, advertising, and search services. A link does not endorse the destination. This site does not control its availability, content, data handling, prices, or results, and visitors should review the destination’s terms.

No Warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that content is complete, current, accurate, uninterrupted, secure, free of errors, or that partner results are comprehensive. Custody and public records can change at any time. Nothing published here is an official government statement.

Liability and Indemnity

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators are not liable for losses arising from use, inability to use, reliance on content, or an outside service. A user agrees to hold the site harmless from claims and reasonable legal costs caused by that user’s conduct or violation of these terms.

Intellectual Property

Original text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Hancock County Recent Arrests or the relevant content partners. They may not be copied, distributed, or modified without permission except where law allows.

Changes and Access

These terms may be revised at any time and become effective when posted. Access may be restricted or ended, with or without notice, when necessary to protect the service or enforce these terms.

Tennessee Law and Severability

Tennessee law governs these terms, and disputes must be brought in an appropriate Tennessee court. If one provision is invalid, it will be adjusted only as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
